The "Grand Sud Ouest" day of the French Chemical Society is a yearly event aimed at the gathering of the chemist's community from Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon regions, featuring plenary lectures, short communications (15 minutes, in french or in english) and poster sessions.

Held in Toulouse on the 27th and 28th of November, 2014, the 24th instance opens to a larger audience by inviting a delegation of three plenary speakers from Portugal, and by hosting an unprecedented interregional Ph.D thesis award. 

Registration fee :

- Students, post-doctoral fellows : 35 € (SCF members) / 55 € (non-members)

- Other : 55 € (SCF members) / 75 € (non-members)

Registration is complimentary for selected Ph.D thesis award candidates.
